Causes and Solutions for Hydraulic Cylinder Oil Leakage
Severe wear of the wear ring on the piston causes friction between the piston and the cylinder liner, which in turn results in damage.
Aging of the sealing ring: Long-term use causes the sealing ring to fail or harden.
Contamination of hydraulic oil: Impurities enter the cylinder and wear the piston and sealing ring.
Improper depth of the fixing screw hole (e.g., inappropriate hole depth or thread length), which affects the sealing performance of the threaded connection.
Solutions:
Replace with a suitable sealing ring;
Inspect, repair or replace the piston rod;
Replace the aging sealing ring;
Clean the cylinder and replace the sealing ring;
Inspect, repair or replace the oil pipe joint;
Inspect, repair or replace the cylinder block and cylinder end cover;
Replace the piston rod;
Replace the deteriorated lubricating oil and aging sealing ring;
Avoid using the cylinder beyond its pressure range.
