However, for users of hydraulic cylinders, how to adjust their speed is a key skill that needs to be mastered. Below, we will share some knowledge about speed adjustment of welded hydraulic cylinders.
Oil flow rate is one of the important factors controlling the speed of a hydraulic cylinder. When the oil flow rate increases, the speed of the hydraulic cylinder will accelerate. Therefore, we can adjust the speed of the hydraulic cylinder by changing the oil flow rate. Generally speaking, there are three ways to adjust the oil flow rate:
1. Adjust the throttle valve
A throttle valve is a device used to control the oil flow rate. It can adjust the oil flow rate by changing the size of the throttle orifice. Throttle valves allow for precise adjustment, but it is necessary to reserve a throttle valve port during the design process.
2. Increase the rotation speed of the oil pump
This method is suitable for situations where speed adjustment from low to high is required. However, it should be noted that increasing the rotation speed of the oil pump will result in a larger oil flow rate and higher pressure.
3. During the customization of the hydraulic cylinder
You can confirm the cylinder bore, stroke, pressure, and working conditions with the hydraulic cylinder manufacturer, and at the same time, specify the speed requirements for the hydraulic cylinder.
